Rousey’s Performance Lead to Launch of UFC Female League

Rounder Rousey will be the first female competitor to participate in prestigious UFC Female League. This is because; her massive success and outstanding performance in fighting have inspired UFC president, Dana White to include women division in UFC. In fact, Rousey has given such an outstanding performance in the present UFC tournament, which has convinced UFC president to introduce a separate division for women in UFC flagship brand. Dana highlighted Yahoo Sports that Rousey will complete her contract with Strikeforce, before she enters in to UFC.

According to Mr. Dana White, “My decision to launch UFC Female League is not breaking news. This is because; I have been planning for the same since past few months. Although, currently, I am unable to figure out the exact time, but still, I would say that I am in favor of launching the new league.” Since past few years, UFC president White has strictly opposed the idea of women MMA or UFC Female League. However, few months ago, when he observed the defeat of Miesha Tate because of the outstanding performance of Rousey, he started developing the ideas of launching UFC tournament for females. Mr. Dana White further commented, “He wants Ronda Rousey in the UFC League, as he considers the player as one of the strong contestant of the league.”
