Bebo Kobo:-Innovator of Camden Market Sold It For £400 Million

Talking of real estate and philanthropy is like describing the life of Bebo Kobo, the famous Israeli investor. He is famed for the kind of business he has established and the role he has played in uplifting the standard of living especially for the low income traders. He started of his career in Israel, being a man who had big dreams he felt that his home country was such a small empire such that he went abroad to expand his territory. He moved to London where he helped in rebuilding of the Camden Market, a popular place at the heart of London where small scale business thrives.

Israeli businessman Teddy Sagi has purchased the Camden Market Complex for over £400 million (about NIS 2.3 billion). As revealed yesterday on the "Calcalist" website, Sagi purchased the prestigious complex from businessmen Richard Caring and Bebo Kobo after a year and a half of negotiations. In this market, he provided affordable stall for the small traders; here they would pay affordable rent to sell their wares. These are people who would not have found it difficult to hire premises in areas where rent was high. They would have not managed to sell their wares in already existing stores as the rates which were being charged were high. Bebo Kobo through his investment in real estate made it possible for these traders to earn a decent living. He replicated the same model in Florida through renovating a market which was already dilapidated. He also changed the lives of people through establishment of the Opa Locka Flea Market.

His good deeds have also been seen by his generous contribution to charity and community projects. One of the recent contributions was to the Wall Western Heritage Foundation, an institution which is important to his country and particularly people of the Jewish descent. The donation goes directly towards maintaining and renovating the area which is within the western wall. The institution is involved in great work of conveying the legacy and heritage of Jews and Israel in general. He has been a great contributor toward this foundation as an extension of his work towards changing the world to be a better place for the entire humanity.
