Parrot’s Newest Drone Packs A Serious Camera, Extreme Range

The All new Parrot’s AR Drone 3.0. This is the latest drone from parrot less with the Intelligence and power and it a good update from the previous AR drone. It more likes a flying camera that can pipe the image directly into the oculus rift headset. This new Flying object is taking the Flying of drone to a new level. This new drone has a 14 Mage pixel camera with a fisheye lens. This setup, along with the software and hardware it makes a amazing machine, allows the drone to pick some amazing images and even zoom the area to get a clear shot.

TechCrunch Says "This setup gives the Bebop a unique selling point over competitors, including models from Phantom that rely on more traditional camera and gimbals rigs. Like previous AR Drones, connectivity is achieved through Wi-Fi and the Bebop has four antennas and can ride on 2.4GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. Still, range through Wi-Fi is limited to, well, the range of Wi-Fi. The Bebop can do much more. Along with the Bebop, Parrot is introducing the Sky controller that extends the Bebop’s range to 2 kilometers. The tablet or Smartphone used to control the drone just mounts in the middle of the controller. Using an assortment of antennas and boosters, the controller boosts the controlling tablet’s signal by 36 dBm."

A video can even pan and slope while the drone hovers. The 180 Degree field of vision allows the camera to capture the amazing shots at a very different angle. The software let it to capture more video then it needs. It then uses the software to edit the clip and discarded the rest irrelevant clips. This all happens when the angle of view to remain fixed even the camera moves away.
