Medical Miracle With Technology, Woman Gets A 3D Printed Skull

The 3D printing is a evolving technology yet, since it foundation several objects printed out, even body parts and now a new Medical miracle happen in Germany an entire Skull is added to 3D printed body parts list including a fingertip, hand, eyes, arm, jaw. A 22 year old Dutch woman nearly dead needed a new skull to replace the existed so an Australian company 3D printed a plastic skull at Utrecht University's University Medical Center in Netherlands. The operation took 23 hours to put the skull on to head and now she’s return to work and hard to find that she ever had any surgery. Before the operation, the woman head were too large and abnormal, and thickness put too much pressure on her brain which causes her unconsciousness and headaches.


Cnet posted “Implants used to be made by hand in the operating theater using a sort of cement which was far from ideal, Verweij said of the procedure, according to Dutch News. Using 3D printing we can make one to the exact size. This not only has great cosmetic advantages, but patients' brain function often recovers better than using the old method. Verweiji says that although portions of skulls have been swapped out in the past, this is the first time an entire cranium has been replaced in a patient. And I bet this is the first time you've ever seen a plastic skull get attached to a real live brain.”
The 3D printing technology is evolving and many expert companies in the fields have raised millions to develop and Sharpe it more. Several 3D printed items in the list which are slightly bigger then we can imagine.

Mr Chips Ex-IVY Chef Planning To Open London Restaurant Chains

Des McDonald, Ex-CEO of the company behind the Ivy and Le Caprice, is planning to launch his two new restaurants in London along side with Bebo Kobo, Lisa Vanderpump and other restaurant owners in UK. Mr. McDonald was the head chef at Ivy in mid 20s and he’s up to open four more eateries for his Brands. The Fish & Chip Shop and Q grill for almost 20 sites in London only. He had opened a Fish & chip shop back in May Last year in North London, meanwhile his latest venture, the 150 cover, BBQ Grill will be planned to open with a launch in Camden this week. Two Fish & Chip Shops will open in Shoreditch, East London and Fulham, south west London, and three new location will be picked for Q Grill, probably opening in ShoreDitch and Soho too and the Islington site made a huge revenue about £1.5m since from its launch.

However, the former chief executive of Caprice Holdings does not consider his plans overly ambitious for a first business venture. “I like to be busy,” he said. “I’d get bored doing one restaurant; I’m used to doing more than one thing. This business is an early start and a late finish so there’s lots of hours to fill in the day.”
Mr. McDonald are planning to make his restaurants into chains with 10 more locations each in London, before go for bigger bet to go nationally. The toughest challenge for him to find out more affordable site upon which they build his brand and finding a supportive bank to finance.

Shadow Networks, a sneaky new company with high Knowledge Engineers, has announces a $10 Million in round of funding from US Securities and Exchange Commission under its previous Name ZanttZ Inc. Shadow Networks is a Security startup from United States of America and specialized in Network security Technology development for the US government and develop virtual emulators where Programmers cam simulates cyber attacks. Firm provided a whole lot of services to US government to programmers letting know of the any online attack, by which they can figure out the vulnerabilities in their Networks. The investors including Paladin Capital Group, a DC based Funding firm, interested into defense technology investments, Yaletwon Venture Partner and two other undisclosed venture firms. Online threat is evolving with the tech advancement so Shadow security was launched to tackle such hackers and attackers.

High-Tech Electronic Headband May Help Prevent Migraines

She added that the 53 percent positive rating is on par with "most oral migraine preventive medications. Perhaps the best finding is that no serious side effects have yet to be associated with the headband.”

Ex-Apple Engineer founded a company Moov, dedicated to develop Wearable Fitness Devices, which tells how to improve your workout and get most out of it. Its s wrist watch like Band, which uses the 9-axis sensors powered with software and algorithms to track each and every body movement in space with using any camera, these sensors will give you tips to run with giving much strains on your Knees or pick up the weights with suitable force. It is a fiber disc, half a dollar coin sized, you can it to track different movements like on your ankle, arm or wrist, you can also mounted on equipments like Cricket bat, or Tennis racket or golf sticks.

When you’re running, the Moov will give real-time audio tips right through your headphones about how to shorten or lengthen your stride or speed up. Device basically built by Nikola Hu, Ex-Apple and Halo Game Engineer and Meng Li and Tony Yuan, the firm is powered by a crowd funding from several Investors, and now they seeking $40 K raise, by which they can arrange a initial shipment of 650 Moov units at $59 for a piece. The device will be available to summer, supporting on only iPhone.
