DARPA Developing Shape-Shifting Transformers

DARPA, American security facility, is developing shape-shifting aircraft; these aircraft are highly advance and containing the latest technology. It is dangerous to deliver the huge supply load at a combat site, which is require helicopters but supply of the helicopters aren’t enough for their services, they need something big vehicle to deliver the cargo. These vehicles are much secured in terms of voice communication, and voice related security because if they are using a line to call Headquarters to inform something, someone else intercept the communication and heard everything. DARPA developing these transformers since 2009 but last year they determined that Arial Reconfigurable Embeddedsystem concept would be good for the future of the transformers

Ashish Bagai, DARPA Program Manager said “ARES would make organic and versatile VTOL capability available to many more individual units. Our goal is to provide flexible, terrain-independent transportation that avoids ground-based threats, in turn supporting expedited, cost-effective operations and improving the likelihood of mission success. Many missions require dedicated vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) assets, but most ground units don’t have their own helicopters The ARES will be carrying out a variety of tasks and controlled remotely from ground via a smartphone or tablet and possibly even be capable of a semi-autonomous flight. Delivering cargo will be no problem for the modular UAV as two ducted fans will produce the vertical lift and forward thrust needed to get the heavy loads off the ground.

DARPA is hoping to expand various mission specific vehicles so that ARES would transport any type of cargo to combat field, no matter what type of cargo I will be like causality extraction, cargo containers or investigation or investigationpayloads. The main aim of developing such vehicle is to reduce risk and save lives.
